It was with sadden hearts that a number of Fitness League (FLexercise) teachers, attended the funeral of Elizabeth on 12th February 2024.  Elizabeth passed away 26th January 2024. Elizabeth was a well loved and wonderful teacher.

She was born in Scotland 5th November 1932 and  had joined Fitness League (Womens League of Health and Beauty) in Scotland.  Arriving in New Zealand she decided to train as a teacher and opened up 2 classes in Wainui and 1 class in Waitoki, after completing her training in 2002.

Elizabeth was a very strong component of Fitness League and was always ready to assist other teachers.  Over the years she produced a lot of costumes for various events, including costumes for the New Zealand team attending the Royal Albert Hall celebrations of Fitness League.

A great lover of animals, particularly her cats.
