It was tough to say good bye to this, the last of Flexercise evening classes, and especially to its members most of whom still work full time. Sonia Sandford founded this class on Wednesday 22nd July 2015 as soon as she was qualified. The class has experienced fluctuating numbers, and most recently held on steadfast with a loyal 5 members. Unfortunately, due to new commitments for Sonia the class has had to close.
We celebrated our last class with a dinner out. We enjoyed a wonderful meal, conversation and truth be told tears were shed. What a fantastic 7years it has been for this class. We even survived lockdown restrictions by running outdoor classes until we had access to the Glamorgan School Hall. Looking back, Evelyn Shute, Philippa Templeton and Heather Finlay have been the longest running members of this class. A special mention to Marilyn Mcallistar whom was a founding member of this class.
