Hamilton Centre 80TH + 2 celebration
27th March 1939 Hamilton Centre was started by Elizabeth Bullock.
Over the years the Centre had various teachers, Betty Hunter, Nina North and then Angela Irvine who took over the centre in 2012.
To celebrate 80 years plus, Angela organised a special lunch on Saturday 27th March 2021, which was wonderful as it coincided with the actual date that the centre opened. Fifteen members and invited teachers, Nina North, Christine Mowat and Val Wightman, had a brilliant time together, with a hot lunch being served, lots of chat and catching up.
The cake, iced by Angela and Fred Irvine, was cut by Rae James and Julie Gillespie, original members when Betty Hunter was teaching, both of whom have been members for many many years.
Thank you Angela for a great day and to all your members, thanks.
