I remember….

When I was about 8 years old my mother joined the Local Health and Beauty classes in Henderson. There was a Junior class going as well so she enrolled my sister and I.

We were so proud to get the uniform – black romper pants and the white glossy top with the logo.

I particularly remember doing a ‘sailor’ item at the end of the year and receiving a Junior Badge.

Seems a long time ago but one I remember fondly. Although the name has changed over the years the concept is the same.
